Finding an attorney on the internet usually does not give you the same
confidence as a word of mouth referral. I know, because most of my clients
come from word of mouth, and there is already an existing level of trust
that is not there without a personal recommendation. This is understandable,
and it is difficult to put one’s offline reputation online. Nevertheless,
here is our attempt.
This page is an aggregation of all the other places on the internet where
my clients have posted reviews of our firm’s services, from google
maps, avvo.com and as well as others. I invited clients to review us whose
cases were closed years ago to more recent ones. If you become a client,
you will also be asked to review our performance and service, as we want
to be sure that all clients receive the best possible experience and service
in this very important process of turning around their financial lives.
Unless you happen to know a bankruptcy attorney, or someone has given you a personal referral to one, it is difficult to know where to start. It is difficult to assess the skills and competence of an attorney in advance. You have to trust someone else who has used them or if that is not possible, you need to kick the tires extensively. It wouldn't hurt to go to two or three consultations with different attorneys to see which one seems to work well with you and can live up to your expectations. Also, these days you can get other clients assessment from Yelp, Google Reviews or Avvo. We have over 97 reviews on those sites, and they are overwhelmingly Five Star reviews.
